How do I know which battery needs replacing in my Visonic wireless alarm system?
 

Low battery troubles are common with Visonic wireless alarm systems. This is indicated by a yellow triangle illuminated on the panel and (depending on how the system is configured) will often be accompanied by trouble beeps. It is a common misconception that it is the control panel backup battery that needs replacing. This is not always the case as this is a rechargeable battery and should last many years. To ensure you are replacing only the necessary batteries, first interrogate the control panel by pressing the OK button repeatedly. Any current system troubles will be displayed in turn.
