Here we explain how to connect your Visonic Powermaster or out-of-contract ADT alarm system to our secure Power Manage server.


Connection to the Smart Alarm Power Manage server gives access to the Visonic-Go and AlarmInstall mobile apps with features that allow remote monitoring, control and configuration of your Visonic Powermaster alarm system. Other features include

PowerLink 3.1 Broadband IP module setup.. Get a Powerlink 3.1 broadband module 


1. Enter Master Installer Mode on the control panel.

2. Press the >> (forward arrow) to scroll to COMMUNICATION and press OK

3. Scroll >> to CS REPORTING press OK

4. Under REPORT EVENTS, choose the events you wish to have reported from the available list. ‘all *backup’ is recommended. The choices are explained fully in the alarm system user manual. Note; the set value is indicated by a solid block ( █ ) next to the setting.

5. Scroll to 1ST REPORT CHANNEL and set it to ‘broadband’.

6. Set the 2nd , 3rd and Dual REPORT CHANNEL as desired.

7. Scroll >> to IP RCVR 1 and enter 077.237.248.053 (the IP address of our server)

8. Scroll >> to PSTN FORMAT and set it to SIA

9. Scroll >> to COMM FAIL REPORT and Press OK set PSTN FAIL to ‘Don’t Report’

10. Use the 'Arm Home' button to Exit INSTALLER MODE

 

GSM/GPRS Communication module setup.  Get a 3G GSM/GPRS module


1  Enter Master Installer Mode on the control panel.

2. Press the >> (forward arrow) to scroll to COMMUNICATION and press OK

3. Press the >> (forward arrow) to scroll to GSM/GPRS/SMS and press OK

4. GPRS REPORT will show, press OK and set it to ‘Enable’.  Note; the set value is indicated by a solid block ( █ ) next to the setting.

5. Repeat step 5 and enable GSM REPORT and SMS REPORT

6. Scroll (>>) to GPRS APN and enter the APN (Access Point Name):  wlapn.com.

7. Scroll >> to GPRS USER NAME and enter the user name: visonic

8. Scroll >> to GPRS PASSWORD and enter the password: visonic

9. Scroll >> to SIM PIN and leave blank.

10.Scroll >> to NETWORK ROAMING and set to ‘Roam Enable’.

11. Scroll >> to GSM KEEP ALIVE and set it to ‘disable’ for contract SIMs and Every 28 days for PAYG SIMs

12. Scroll >> to TRANSFER PROTOCOL and set to TCP

13. Scroll to GPRS ALWAYS ON and set to enable.

14. Use the 'Arm Home' button to go back up through the menu system until you see 4. COMMUNICATION press OK

15. Scroll >> to CS REPORTING press OK

16. Under REPORT EVENTS, select the events you wish to have reported from the available list.  ('all*backup' is recommended). The choices are explained fully in the alarm system user manual.

17. Scroll to 1ST  REPORT CHANNEL and set it to ‘cellular’.

18. Set the 2nd , 3rd and Dual REPORT CHANNEL as desired.

19. Scroll >> to IP RCVR 1 and enter 077.237.248.053 (the IP address of our server)

20. Scroll >> to PSTN FORMAT and set it to SIA

21. Scroll >> to COMM FAIL REPORT and Press OK set PSTN FAIL to ‘Don’t Report’

22. Use the 'Arm Home' button to go back up one menu level and scroll >> to UP/DOWNLOAD press OK

23. Scroll >> to GPRS Up/Down press OK

24. In My SIM Tel. # enter the telephone number of the SIM installed in the GSM module.

25. Use the 'Arm Home' button to Exit INSTALLER MODE


Out of contract ADT system setup.

Your ADT maintenance contract has ended and you want to continue self monitoring your alarm system.


The following instructions are for ex-ADT systems that have previously been connected to a monitoring server and the original communication settings are unchanged. If you are unsure whether any settings have been changed, please refer to the full setup instructions above. 


1. Enter Master Installer Mode on the control panel

2. Press the >> (forward arrow) to scroll to COMMUNICATION and press OK

3. Scroll >> to CS REPORTING press OK

4. Scroll >> to IP RCVR 1 and enter 077.237.248.053 (the IP address of our server)

5. Press OK to store the new IP address

6. Use the 'Arm Home' button to Exit INSTALLER MODE


Using the Visonic-Go App.


1. Install the App on one or more mobile devices

2. Open the App and at the first login page enter secvu.com in the hostname field; check the'Terms of Use' box and tap 'Add New'

3. At the next page enter a Panel Name (eg. Home, Shop, Office) and your Panel ID, then tap 'Save'

The unique 6 digit Panel ID is printed on a label on the rear of the panel; it can also be accessed on the panel via the Installer menu.

Go to: MASTER INSTALLER MENU - scroll >> to SERIAL NUMBER - Press OK then scroll >> to PANEL ID

4. At the second login page enter your User Code - i.e. the code you use to set/unset the system.

5. Wait between 10 and 40 seconds for the app to connect to your system.


NOTE - For panels connected via GSM click the 'Tap to Connect' icon to send wake up text.


NOTE - Remember to select the alerts you wish to receive it the app settings and allow notifications from the VisonicGo app in your device settings.


Using the Alarm Install App. (Remote Mode)


1. Install the App on one or more mobile devices

2. Open the App and read and accept the 'Terms of Use'

3. Select 'Remote'

4. Select 'Register new account'

5. In the Host Address field enter - secvu.com

5. Create your user account by entering your email address and contact details and selecting a password.

6. Log in to start adding panels to your account.

7. Click the + symbol (top right)

8. In the 'Web Name' field enter your control panel ID and click 'Save'

9. Enter the control panel  installer code to connect  to your selected panel


NOTE - Installer access must be allowed by the alarm system owner in the Visonic-Go App
